BMW M3 Race Edition Debuts in Chicago

BMW introduced the new race-ready BMW M3 at the Chicago Auto Show yesterday. The highly specialized eight cylinder car will tour the American Le Mans Series in 2009, following a deal the BMW racing division made with Rahal Letterman Racing.As if the M3 wasn’t powerful enough, the racing edition sees an increase of 65 horsepower to a total of 485 hp.
